photo updates....with lots of messy eating!

Apologies for the long gap between blog updates, life has become very busy, with my work which has been filtering into the weekends ( i should be doing so as i type this) and just general life duties. I certainly didn't realise it would be so hard to juggle so much,(what did i used to do with all my spare time i wonder???) it does leave less time for fun things like updating blogs.....sorry!

Some very exciting news in the Kerr family though, if you haven't already heard... We have just recently bought a block of land in Mernda (for all those interstate people, Mernda is situated at the most northern part of Melbourne, almost rural, but soon to be highly developed with huge shopping centre (for me) and huge Bunnings (for Jai) ) so that we build a place with some much needed space and storage, for all those toys and things that have turned a once lounge room, into more of a play room. We are very excited indeed, although it will probably be another year or so before it all happens....we will keep you updated.

Some Ella news...

I have posted some photos of Ella and her very messy eating habits, she insists on feeding herself so it is inevitable there will be a big mess in the process...some of her favorite things...pasta and Vegemite (check out the toothy grin!) and the other photo is story time with her dad, reading her absolutely favorite book of the moment "the wheels on the bus" Thanks Suze for a great present, its a definite winner! she loves pointing out where the bus is...too cute!

She is now clapping on her own, after lots of lessons from Nonna, she is also standing very steadily now and we think she may not be too far away from walking?? Not that I am encouraging this too soon....she already doesn't stop when she is awake,crawling ever so fast now, so i don't want to imagine how fast she will be on foot!

Ella is not very far away from turning 1 in the next couple of weeks, and i can hardly believe it! It feels almost like yesterday i was holding her (not so tiny) body in my arms... how time flies!
