Look...it's a floater!

Mum's having the day off blogging today....so here's Dad!

Ella had a super big day today, and was exciting as well as a nervous time for Mum and I. Why? Because Ella was invited for an interview at Brats Models! Woohoo!
It was an early start for Ella, missing her morning nap....poor kid! But she managed to power through the "very camp" interview with all smiles and happiness. She had lots of photos taken, and now we just have to wait to see if she will be the next "Face of Best and Less"!

A quick break and then it's off to Ella's 1st swimming lesson! Yay! What a girl!
Again, she was swimming when she should have been sleeping. Poor kid will be sleep deprived before she turns 1! (Luckily today is just a one off!) Like the supergirl she is she enjoyed her first lesson. A little nervous at first, new surroundings, etc. but adjusted pretty quickly. Although she wasn't a big fan of being pushed forward through the water, she loved being pushed lying on her back so much that she almost zzzzzz (fell asleep). A good floater....just like her mum! Then came the big scary moment, Ella's face in the water! The swimming teacher gave her a light dunk into the water before passing her onto me. She was a little startled, but Dad was there to reassure her! (last 2 shots in photo frame)

So what do 6 month old supergirls do after a big day of modelling and swimming? Have a sleep, and then do a poo! And sleep again! Hopefully until late tomorrow morning. (That was a hint from Mum - she's tired)
